We do not recommend to use chocolate fountain outdoors. If you absolutely have to, we suggest that a tent with covered surroundings to be provided to protect from breezes and because sweet aroma of the chocolate will attract flying creatures. As well as maintaining of the temperature of chocolate will be difficult to continue smooth operation
